Yes, they are together. As in yaoi. No, they will not leave each other for your original character, no matter how charming, beautiful or slutty they are.

Lyrics are "You Know What They do to Guys like Us in Prison" by My Chemical Romance. NO, I do not like the group but if this isn't Synn and Fox's song, I don't know what is.
